On my way to sixpack (part 2)

Lalala.. Lalala.. Been long time since I've posted my last story. ;)
Yep! I'm busy enjoying my beautiful life. Hahahaha..

Working, doing my routines as a wife, chilling out with my mom in law, catching up with my friends, enjoying the last days of winter, owh I love winter!!! Call me crazy, but I do.. But I love summer the most.. No, no, no! I love my Tole the most :p Hahahaha..

Anyway, let's go to the big point now. Do you still remember this post On My Way To Sixpack ?
I'm still struggling on it. :D And today I would like to share the achievements that I've gained in the last months.

I have set a goal at the beginning 2015, I decided to live my life better and healthier, I want my body to be fitter and stronger. I could say that I'm lil bit extreme doing this. I stop consuming or adding salt and sugar to meals. Yes, I totally stop using both of them. I use other spices instead. Unless I have lunch or dinner outside, I avoid salt or sugar. Some friends of mine wondered why and asked, whether Tole complained because my cookings might not be so yummy anymore. Hahaha.. The answer is NO!. He's totally fine with it. In fact, I "forced" him to eat all the spices things. The first time, I stepped my feet on his kitchen (now it's OUR kitchen...or even MY kitchen.. Hahahaha...), I couldn't even find pepper!!!! No pepper, no oregano, no sugar! NOTHING! The fridge was full of jogurt, paprika and broccoli!!! Hahahaha.. 3 days after, his cupboard full of spices, you mention it, we have now ALL!! Hahahaha...

Besides reducing the use of salt and sugar, I started eating better and clean. At first, I didn't have any idea, what "clean eating" is. Honestly, I had never heard before, until one of my Facebook friends commented on my post and asked, if I do clean eating. I immediatly googled what that exactly means. AHA! So, do I eat clean the last weeks??? I never heard and knew about Diet Mayo, Diet Paleo, or even Clean Eating. I have basic knowledge about foods and nutrition, since I studied Food Technology. I have just tried to apply on my daily life, all the things that I could remember from the college. Hahahaha...

At least, I know that I have been in the right track. I don't eat less, I just eat better.

I choose bananas or kiwis, instead of Kitk*t.
I drink smoothies, instead of Cola.
I'd better pick green tea, instead of yummy vanilla chai latte.
I eat boiled things or raw things, instead of fried ones.
I run more.
I walk more.
I climb.
I do skip-rope.
I go anywhere with my bike.
I smile more.
I laugh more.

And you wanna know what I got in return after doing all of those things above? A LOT!
I stop getting stupid migraine and stomach-cramp attack, everytime I get my monthly period. This is really the biggest achievement ever. I used to just lay and crawl on the bed at the first or second day of my period, even sometimes third, fourth or fifth day. Even Aspirin couldn't help. Auch! Terrible!!
I become stronger and fitter. How could I say this? So, when you can run without out of breath for 50-60 minutes. Or you can do push-ups without any difficulties? Or if you can carry your 183cm tall handsome husband on your back? Or when all of colleagues are sick and you are not infected? Isn't it cool? But the most important thing is: I have never been this fit. PERIOD!

Aha, and what about sixpack? Isn't that your biggest goal??? Yes, it IS! But now I see it as beautiful visible reward after all my work. :) And did I already get my sixpack? Let this pictures tell you :p

Opppsss!! Sorry for the mess on my table :p
I love pink, anyway!

Stay healthy! Love.

  1. You will begin this once in lifetime trek from Lukla and then head towards the base camp of Everest. Make your way through the most beautiful Sherpa villages and experience their culture. You will make your way through suspension bridges and share the trail with the yaks. Furthermore, you trek beyond clouds, through the prayer flags draped rocks and hills. You will pay homages in the monasteries and make your way to the base camp of the highest mountain in the world. This is not just a trek but it is a journey, a journey of enlightenment, happiness, fear, achievement and what not.

  2. It very rare in the other regions to find lakes made out of glacier deposits and in plenty. This trek takes you to beautiful emerald green and turquoise lakes. The lakes reflect the most magnificent reflection of the highest mountains. To add up, it takes you to the highest walkable passes, which is as well a fantastic vantage points. The vantage point offers views of one of the world’s highest mountains. Cho La offers the view of Everest and unlike the view from Kala Patthar. From Chola pass you can see the Everest dominating the entire landscape. Finally, we as well see the Everest base camp and the Kala Patthar which is the zenith of the trek
